SAN ANGELO, TX — The Wall Lady Hawks softball team claimed another district win over TLCA San Angelo on Monday. With the win, head coach Allyson Seider notched her 100th victory at the helm of the Lady Hawks.
The Lady Hawks beat TLCA San Angelo 17-2 after three innings.
"It's exciting," Seider said after her 100th win. "It's not really something I think about, but it's kind of cool to have been here for five years building something great."

After an impressive milestone of 100 wins, Seider continues to build a program that improves each and every year. The Lady Hawks currently sit at No. 13 in the 3A state rankings and are 17-3 overall on the season.
"A big part of the process has been coaching kids that want to work hard," Seider said of the Lady Hawks' success. "They want to give it their all, and they bought into what I've been coming in and trying to do for them. So, that's what it is, kids buying in and working hard."
The Lady Hawks look to continue that success as they progress through the rest of district play. Seider thinks they have what it takes.
"I think if these ladies keep coming in every day and working hard, they can go as far as they want to [this season]," Seider concluded.

That work ethic certainly produced results in the game on Monday. Wall took control early, scoring 14 runs in the top of the first, before adding three more runs in the top of the second inning. TLCA managed to get on the board in the bottom of the third inning with two runs, but could not claw back far enough to extend the game past the third.
The Lady Hawks currently sit at 3-1 in district play with wins over TLCA San Angelo and Sweetwater. Wall's only loss this year came at the hands of Jim Ned in a 13-10 loss on the road two weeks ago.
