Wall’s Braden Commits to Play Football at Hardin-Simmons

WALL, TX — Wall High School senior Koen Braden has announced his commitment to play football at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene.

Last fall, Braden was named the District 4-3A Division II Co-Defensive Lineman of the Year.

The 6-foot, 275-pound Braden was a key part of a Wall defense that allowed only 8.4 points per game on the way to the program’s first-ever state title.

He had 71 tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks, two fumble recoveries and 12 quarterback hurries.

Braden is joining a Hardin-Simmons team that went 9-2 last year in the NCAA Division III ranks.
