WALL, TX — Two Wall Hawks recently received a postseason honor after the state title game. OL Baine Jenschke and LB Gavin Sisson were recently named to Dave Campbell's Texas Football All-State Championship Team for their performance against Newton.
Wall defeated Newton last Thursday, 25-24, in a matchup where the Hawks led early before Newton came storming back in the 2nd half. Wall had to rely on its defense to get the job done and eventually claimed victory and the 3A-Div II Championship. A big reason for the early success in that game was Gavin Sisson.

Sisson's biggest impact came when he blocked a punt from Newton in the second half. The blocked punt was returned for a touchdown and cemented the Hawks firmly in the lead. He also added 13 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss in the state championship win. Sisson was named the Defensive MVP for the 3A-Div II Title Game.
Wall High School offensive lineman Baine Jenschke received his second college football offer earlier this week from Angelo State University.
On offense, Baine Jenschke continued to be the anchor on the offensive front that touted one of the most explosive offenses in 3A football. Thanks to Jenshcke and others on that offensive line, the Wall Hawks were able to take control early.
The Hawks finished with an outstanding 16-0 overall record in 2025 and achieved something that no other Wall Hawk team had before them: a state championship.
