Central Bobcats Move Kickoff Time for Thursday’s Game Against Frenship

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Central Bobcats football team has moved its kickoff time to 7 p.m. for Thursday’s regular-season finale against Frenship at San Angelo Stadium.

The game was originally moved to 7:30 p.m. when district play began four weeks ago, but San Angelo ISD announced Monday that the game has been moved up to 7 p.m. again.

Senior Night activities that were postponed Oct. 24 due to weather have been rescheduled to Thursday’s game and will take place before kickoff.

Central (5-4 overall, 2-2 in District 6-2A) clinched its first playoff berth since 2022 last week with its 35-32 win over Odessa High.

The game with Frenship (4-5, 2-2) will decide the district’s third-place finisher.

It will be an exciting week at San Angelo Stadium as the Lake View Chiefs will host Andrews at 7 p.m. Friday for the District 3-4A Division I title.

Lake View has a chance to win its first district title in 21 years.
