SAN ANGELO, TX — The Angelo State baseball team has announced its 2026 season schedule, as head coach Kevin Brooks and the defending Lone Star Conference champions aim to build on last year’s success and return to the NCAA Division II College World Series.
The Rams are coming off a dominant 48-10 campaign in 2025, during which they captured both the LSC regular-season and tournament titles before falling to UT Tyler in the South Central Super Regional.
With UT Dallas joining the Lone Star Conference, several changes have been made to the league format. The 2026 season will feature only conference play, with the first two series reduced to three games each before returning to the traditional four-game format. The adjustment allows each program to remain under the 50-game NCAA regular-season limit.
Angelo State opens the year on the road with a three-game series at UT Permian Basin (Jan. 30–Feb. 1) before returning home to host UT Tyler (Feb. 6–8) at Foster Field at 1st Community Credit Union Stadium.
