Angelo State Baseball to Host Annual Lone Star Winter Showcase Camp

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Angelo State baseball program will host its annual Lone Star Winter Showcase Camp on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, at Foster Field. This camp will give high school players the opportunity to sharpen their skills and perform in front of the ASU coaching staff.

The showcase is open to all high school players ages 15–19 and costs $150 per participant. Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged. The camp offers a chance for athletes to display their abilities in a professional scouting-style format, designed to mirror the evaluation structure used by Major League Baseball.

Players will be evaluated through a series of drills and sessions, including:

  • 60-yard dash

  • Infield and outfield position work

  • Catcher’s pop times

  • Batting practice

  • Pitchers’ bullpens

  • Live game action

Participants will also receive hands-on instruction from the Angelo State coaching staff, led by Head Coach Kevin Brooks, who has guided the Rams to multiple Lone Star Conference championships and NCAA postseason appearances.

Interested players should contact Coach Brooks directly to reserve a spot:

The showcase provides prospective student-athletes with a valuable platform to demonstrate their talent in front of college coaches while experiencing the facilities and atmosphere of one of Division II baseball’s premier programs.
