SAN ANGELO, TX — The Angelo State volleyball team will hit the road this weekend, beginning with a match in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. The Belles are set to face Texas Woman’s University on Friday in Denton before wrapping up the weekend on Saturday afternoon in Dallas against DBU.
The Belles enter the weekend coming off a dominant 3-0 sweep over UT Permian Basin on Homecoming Saturday. Angelo State hit .273 as a team while holding the Falcons to a .000 attack percentage. Julia Hopkins led the Belles with 10 kills, and Ireland Ferguson anchored the defense with 13 digs.

Scouting Report
Texas Woman’s (12-7, 5-3 LSC)
The Pioneers are 8-2 at home and have won their last three matches in Denton. Myracle Stockman leads the offense with 169 kills, while Jonaida Donowa posts a team-best .263 hitting percentage and 1.10 blocks per set. Defensively, TWU ranks among the top units in the Lone Star Conference, holding opponents to a .147 attack percentage. Alyssa Rojo contributes 4.97 digs per set to anchor the back row.
DBU (11-5, 5-3 LSC)
The Lady Patriots are 5-1 at home and have also won their last three home matches. They hit .201 as a team, led by junior Karly Wells, who averages 4.75 kills per set while hitting .225. Defensively, freshman libero Blue Anderson records 4.13 digs per set, and Aizlyn Dewberry averages 0.90 blocks per set. DBU limits opponents to .164 hitting overall.
