Lake View Chiefs’ District Opener Rescheduled

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Lake View Chiefs’ District 3-4A Division I opener next week at Pecos has been rescheduled.

The game has been moved up a day to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, due to a shortage of referees in the Permian Basin.

Lake View (5-2) and Pecos (3-4) had an overtime battle last year that Pecos won 45-37 at San Angelo Stadium.

The Chiefs are aiming for their first district title since 2004.

Lake View’s other district games will be Oct. 31 at Big Spring and Nov. 7 at home against Andrews.
