Abilene Toddler Dies After Vehicle Accident in Driveway

ABILENE, TX — A 2-year-old boy was fatally struck by a vehicle in his family’s driveway Monday in Abilene.

According to the Abilene Police Department, a family member was moving a pickup truck from the driveway when the boy walked behind the vehicle and was accidentally run over.

He later died at the hospital from his injuries.

“The investigators and the department is grieving with the family who has lost a loved one in a tragic incident,” a police press release stated.
