Five Rambelles Named WGCA All-American Scholars for 2024-25

CORAL SPRINGS, FL – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) has recognized five Angelo State student-athletes as All-American Scholars for the 2024-25 academic year, honoring their excellence both on the course and in the classroom.

The Rambelles named to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team include Lacey Stevens, Johanna Öhrling, Caitlin Vanderkruk, Mia Clarke, and Kelsey Kline.

To earn a place on the list, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and participate in at least 50 percent of their team’s scheduled competitive rounds during the season.

The Rambelles capped a successful season with their second-ever NCAA Regional Tournament appearance and posted the second-most WGCA All-American Scholars in the Lone Star Conference.

The WGCA All-American Scholar program is widely regarded as one of the most rigorous academic honors in collegiate athletics, emphasizing both academic achievement and athletic participation.
