IRVING, TX — The Big 12 Conference released the men’s basketball opponent matrices for the 2025-26 season on Wednesday, outlining each team’s 18-game conference schedule. The format includes three home-and-home matchups per school, with the remaining 12 opponents split evenly between home-only and away-only contests.
This scheduling model is designed to optimize travel efficiency and maintain competitive balance across the expanded league.
Texas Basketball Highlights:

Texas Tech will face BYU, Colorado, and Houston in a home-and-away series. The Red Raiders host Cincinnati, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, TCU, and Utah, and travel to Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, UCF, Iowa State, and West Virginia.

Baylor will face Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Houston, Kansas, and Kansas State at home only and BYU, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Utah, and West Virginia on the road only. The Bears will play a home-and-away series against UCF, TCU, and Texas Tech.

Houston will face BYU, UCF, Cincinnati, Colorado, Iowa State, and Utah at home only. On the road only, the Cougars will play Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Kansas, Oklahoma State, and West Virginia. Finally, Houston will play a home-and-away series against Kansas State, TCU, and Texas Tech.

TCU will face Arizona, Arizona State, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, and Oklahoma State in Fort Worth only. On the road, the Horned Frogs will play BYU, UCF, Cincinnati, Colorado, Texas Tech, and Utah. TCU's home-and-away series includes Baylor, Houston, and West Virginia.
