Angelo State’s Frush Named LSC Field Athlete of the Year

 

RICHARDSON, TX – Angelo State University’s Kylie Frush was named the Lone Star Conference Female Field Athlete of the Year.

Frush, a junior exercise science major from Glen Rose, wrapped up her second NCAA Division II national meet at the end of May, earning All-American honors after finishing 12th overall in the heptathlon with 4,815 points.

At the conference outdoor championships, Frush won the David Noble Award, which is given to the most outstanding female track athlete. She totaled 25 points after winning the heptathlon (5,063 points) and earning points in the long jump, triple jump, 4x400 relay and 4x100 relay.
