PUEBLO, CO — The Angelo State University track and field teams concluded the 2025 season Saturday with 12 All-American performances as the Rams finished eighth overall and the Rambelles finished 19th at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships.
Federica Dozio started the final day of the meet with a second-place finish in the women's javelin, setting a new personal best mark with a throw of 51.72 meters (169 feet, 8 inches).
In the men's 800-meter race, Antonio Blair recorded a time of 1:49.06 to finish second.
Rami Balti and Solomon Odonkor both finished seventh in their respective events as Balti ran a 46.19 in the 400, while Odonkor turned in a time of 21.08 in the 200.
The men's 4x400 relay team of Taylor Briggs, Adrian Nethersole, Tristan Guerrero and Balti also finished seventh, combining for a time of 3:08.64.
In the women's shot put, Fedra Florentin took 16th with a throw of 14.19 meters (46-6.25), while Kylyie Paden was 17th in the women's pole vault, clearing a height of 3.92 meters (12-10.25).
Mark Burdin set a new personal best in the decathlon, totaling 7,582 points to finish third and earn First-Team All-American honors for the second year in a row. He took third overall in both the 110m hurdles and the discus while finishing fourth in the pole vault.
The Belles collected two All-American honors in the heptathlon as Maricia Spence finished fourth with 5,427 points, while Kylie Frush was 12th with 4,815.
In the women's discus, Tiamara Hill-Johnson finished 14th with a mark of 46.52 meters (152-7). Kamryn Williams was 21st at 42.91 meters (140-9).
Josh Body finished 13th in the men's triple jump, earning a mark of 15.50 meters (50-10.25), while Maricia Spence was 20th in the 100 hurdles at 14.71.
Athletes who finished in the top eight were named First-Team All-Americans, while finishers from ninth to 16th earned Second-Team All-American honors.
