ADACCV, Concho Valley CARES to Host Free Summer Youth Camp

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Alcohol & Drug Awareness Center for the Concho Valley and the Concho Valley CARES Coalition will host a free youth leadership camp this summer.

The camp will be held June 16-20 for third-fifth graders and June 23-27 for sixth-eighth graders at the Girl Scouts of Central Texas facility, 304 W. Ave. A.

Each session runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday.

The Summer Youth Leadership Camp offers a week of fun, learning and development. Activities include engaging leadership workshops, dynamic guest speakers, off-site field trips, and team-building exercises. 

Lunch and snacks will be provided daily, and participation is completely free of charge.
Registration is now open at www.adaccv.org and will close on Thursday, May 29. Space is limited and early registration is encouraged.

In 2007, Concho Valley CARES formed with the mission to reduce substance use through community effort, focusing on youth. CV CARES has been a coalition of the Alcohol & Drug Abuse Awareness Center for the Concho Valley, a nonprofit 501(c)3, for over a decade, and collaborates with organizations and individuals from 12 sectors of our community.
