Angelo State Women’s Golf Qualifies for NCAA West Regional

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — For the first time in program history, the Angelo State women's golf team will compete in the NCAA West Regional on May 5-7 at La Paloma Golf Course in Amarillo.

The Rambelles will see some familiar faces in Amarillo as fellow Lone Star Conference competitors Dallas Baptist, St. Mary's, West Texas A&M, UT Tyler, Midwestern State, Lubbock Christian, Texas A&M International and Cameron are also in the field.

Other opponents include Cal State San Marcos, Cal State LA, Simon Fraser, Biola, Cal State East Bay, CSU Pueblo, Sonoma State, Colorado Christian and Academy of Art.

In the 2024-25 season, the Belles have claimed seven Top 10 finishes in their 10 tournaments.

The Belles concluded their regular season on Apr. 22 in the LSC Championship, where the team finished in eighth place.
