SOCCER ROUNDUP: San Angelo Teams Fall in Area Round of Playoffs

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo’s three soccer teams alive in the area round of the playoffs were all eliminated Tuesday.

San Angelo Central’s boys lost 2-0 to Southlake Carroll after a pair of second-half goals by the Dragons.

Central’s girls suffered the same fate after Keller Central scored twice after halftime in a 2-0 win.

Both games were played at Abilene Christian University’s Elmer Gray Stadium.

The Lake View girls lost 6-1 to Decatur in their second-round game at Astound Broadband Stadium in Midland.
