SAN ANGELO, TX — The No. 2-ranked Angelo State baseball team and No. 7 softball team will each have a home series this weekend.
The Rams will host Sul Ross State in a four-game series beginning at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, at Foster Field at 1st Community Credit Union Stadium.
The series will continue with a 1 p.m. doubleheader Saturday and a 1 p.m. finale Sunday.
The Rams have a record of 6-2 after splitting a series with No. 16 UT Tyler last weekend. Sul Ross is 1-7.
The Rambelles’ softball team will host No. 20 Oklahoma Christian in a 1 p.m. doubleheader Friday at Mayer Field. The Belles will then host Cameron in a 1 p.m. doubleheader Sunday.
Fans will receive t-shirts at the gate before Game 2 of Friday’s doubleheader (about 3:30 p.m.) while supplies last.
The Belles are off to an 8-1 start and up four spots in the national rankings. They suffered their first loss of the season last weekend, 1-0 to Missouri Western, but they added four more wins at their home tournament.
