SAN ANGELO, TX — The Angelo State University football team announced its 2025 signing class Wednesday, Feb. 5.
The 29-player class includes two quarterbacks, Landon Kieselhorst (6-6, 210) from Deer Park and Maddox Maher (6-3, 195) from Dripping Springs.
There are a handful of players from around the area, including Wall’s Brylan White and Briggs Jones.
White had 91 tackles, 46 quarterback pressures, 15 tackles for loss and five sacks on the defensive line last year, while Jones was a playmaker as a wide receiver, defensive back and kick returner.
Midland Legacy offensive lineman Peyton Arthur and Jim Ned tight end Carter Lange were other area players who were signed.
Some of the state’s top high school programs were represented by players such as tight end Preston Baker from Smithson Valley and offensive lineman Antwone Brantley from Duncanville.
