Texas Longhorns QB Arch Manning Opens as Betting Favorite to Win Heisman

SAN ANGELO, TX — University of Texas quarterback Arch Manning has opened as the betting favorite to win the 2025 Heisman Trophy, according to ESPN BET.

Manning will be a sophomore next season, and he’s expected to take over the starting QB job after backing up Quinn Ewers last season.

Ewers declared for the NFL Draft after leading the Longhorns to back-to-back trips to the national semifinals.

Texas trails only defending national champion Ohio State in betting odds to win the 2025 title.

LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier is second on ESPN BET’s oddsboard, while three other QBs  — Tennessee’s Nico Iamaleava, Clemson’s Cade Klubnik and Penn State’s Drew Allar — round out the top five.

Colorado wide receiver/defensive back Travis Hunter won the Heisman Trophy this past season as the nation’s top football player.
