SAN ANGELO, TX — The Angelo State Rams and Rambelles are set to return to action this Friday, January 17, as they compete at the Owen Hewett Invitational hosted by the University of Oklahoma.

Season Preview
Angelo State kicked off the indoor season in December at the Boo Rogers Combined Events, where Kylie Frush and Mark Burdin earned NCAA Division II provisional marks in the multis.
This week’s competition will mark the first full-team event of the season, with 17 women and 15 men traveling to Oklahoma to represent ASU.
Athletes to Watch
Men
- Mark Burdin: Currently ranked 6th nationally in the heptathlon with 5,177 points, Burdin looks to build on his strong start to the season.
Women
- Kylie Frush: Ranked 13th nationally in the pentathlon with 3,464 points, Frush aims to solidify her position among the top competitors in Division II.
The Rams and Rambelles are looking to make a statement at the Owen Hewett Invitational as they prepare for a competitive indoor season.
