SAN ANGELO, TX — The Angelo State basketball teams will complete a four-game homestand when they host Midwestern State and Lubbock Christian this week at the Junell Center.
The Rambelles will play Midwestern at 5:15 p.m. Thursday, followed by the Rams’ game at 7:30 p.m.
ASU’s women will then host Lubbock Christian at 1 p.m. Saturday, followed by the men’s game at 3 p.m.
The Belles (12-3 overall, 8-1 Lone Star Conference) are on a 10-game winning streak after Madeline Stephens’ buzzer-beating layup gave them a 61-59 win over Eastern New Mexico last Saturday.
If the Belles get past Midwestern (6-9, 4-5), their winning streak will be put to the test against No. 18-ranked Lubbock Christian (14-3, 8-1).
For the Rams (9-6, 5-4), they’ll try to rebound from back-to-back losses last weekend, but they’ll be up against a pair of quality opponents.
Midwestern is 11-3, 6-2, while Lubbock Christian is 11-5, 6-2.
ASU won’t be home again until Jan. 30 against Sul Ross State.
