Bronte Volleyball Players Named to TGCA All-State Team

 

BRONTE, TX — Three Bronte High School athletes were honored recently on the Texas Girls Coaches Association Class 1A All-State Volleyball Team.

Seniors Emalyn Bohensky, Kylie Reno and November Wilson earned the recognition after leading the Lady Longhorns back to the state semifinals.

Bronte’s season ended with a four-set loss to eventual state champion Harrold. 

The Lady Longhorns had a record of 30-12, won their district and claimed four playoff trophies, highlighted by a five-set win over Water Valley in the regional final.

Other West Texas athletes that were named all-state included Rankin’s Mylee Van Meter and Wink’s Aizlyn Dewberry, Delaney Dodd-Fernandes and Alyssa Smith.
