Angelo State Basketball Teams to Make Home Debut This Week

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Angelo State University men’s and women’s basketball teams will each make their home debut this week.

The Rams will play Arlington Baptist at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Junell Center, while the Rambelles will host Adams State at 2 p.m. Thursday.

ASU’s men are off to a 1-1 start after splitting a pair of games in Durango, Colorado earlier this month, which included a 69-63 upset of No. 22-ranked Fort Lewis.

ASU’s women are 2-0 after a couple of wins in Denver over Metro State (59-41) and Western Colorado (57-54).

The Rams and Belles will each begin Lone Star Conference play on Saturday in Odessa with a doubleheader against UT Permian Basin at 1 p.m.
