MASON, TX — Few stadiums in Texas are as beloved as Mason’s Puncher Dome, which has a unique look and history.
Formally known as R. Clinton Schulze Stadium, it was built in 1938 as a horse racetrack. A wooden grandstand is the stadium’s defining feature.
However, the stadium will have a very different look this season after the press box on the roof covering the home stands was damaged in a spring storm.
