LOUISVILLE, KY — The NFCA recently released its annual All-America Scholar-Athlete honors. A dozen members of last season's Angelo State softball team were named among the 8,054 student-athletes honored across all divisions of collegiate softball, the NFCA announced this afternoon.
As a team, the Rambelles earned a 3.522 team GPA last season.
To be named to the All-America Scholar-Athlete list, student-athletes must earn a 3.5 GPA or above during the 2023-24 academic year.
The Rambelles named to the list were:
- Abby Brand (sophomore, Mathematics with Secondary Education)
- Zoey De Baca (junior, Health Science Professions)
- Ashton Dirner (senior, Geosciences)
- Cheyenne Floyd (junior, Interdisciplinary Studies)
- Keilei Garcia (graduate student, Coaching, Sport, Recreation, and Fitness Administration)
- Averie Gunther (junior, Business)
- Torrey Hogan (senior, Health Science Professions)
- Erin Plunkett (junior, Business Management)
- Raegan Sucher (freshman, Civil Engineering)
- Layni Tanner (sophomore, Kinesiology)
- Tatiana Trotter (sophomore, Intelligence and Analysis)
- Matie Wolkow (junior, Communications)
