BEDMINSTER, NJ — Millions watched reigning U.S. Open Champion Bryce DeChambeau golf with President Donald Trump on his YouTube show for a special episode in the series titled “Break 50” on Tuesday. DeChambeau and President Trump played 18 holes of golf for charity and made an interesting video in the process.
The YouTube video released at noon on Tuesday has since gone viral, with over 2.4 million views in less than 10 hours. DeChambeau said that one of the purposes of this series was to gain over 1 million subscribers to his channel before the end of July. Before the video was released, he had a little less than 900,000. DeChambeau now has 1.04 million subscribers.
People can say what they want about Trump, but the man brings the star power. Dechambeau's most watched video on his channel has 3 million views and features a 9-hole match against fellow pro golfer Phil Mickelson. That video was posted 11 months ago. This latest edition to "Break 50" should surpass that one soon.
During the show, DeChambeau plays rounds of golf with his guests as they try to break under a total score of 50. In this particular episode, the pro golfer and President Trump agreed to donate $10,000 for every stroke under par they ended up with to donate to the Wounded Warrior Project.
According to the Wounded Warriors Project’s website, “The Warriors to Work program provides registered warriors and their family support members with the resources and assistance needed to be successful in the civilian workforce and live financially resilient lives.”
The episode featured great conversation, excellent golf from President Trump and Dechambeau, and two guys having a good time for a good cause.

In most cases, people would think that DeChambeau would be the golfer doing the lion's share of the work, but President Trump is known to be good at golf. In fact, on hole 9, the two golfers used all of President Trump’s shots to record the score.
This episode was recorded before the assassination attempt on Trump’s life. In the wake of the evil act that Trump survived, DeChambeau voiced his support for the former president on X.
Some people complain about the former president and Republican nominee’s age, but Trump showed that he's still got it, as both men shot 22 under par to hit the 50 mark. The donations totals still aren’t exactly 100% clear, but it seems that each man will donate at least $22,000 a piece to charity, maybe more.
