Rams Skipper Named South Central Coach of the Year for 4th Consecutive Year

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Angelo State Baseball’s Kevin Brooks has been named the NCAA Division II South Central Region Coach of the Year by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and ATEC for the fourth consecutive season.

The ABCA/ATEC Regional Coaches of the Year are chosen by members of the ABCA All-America & Coach of the Year Committees across all nine divisions.

In 2024, Brooks led the Rams to a 44-21 overall record and secured their fourth straight appearance in the NCAA Division II National Championship Tournament. The Rams reached the Division II title game for the second consecutive year, becoming the first team to achieve back-to-back appearances since 2006.

The Rams garnered five All-American honors, 12 All-Region recipients, and seven Lone Star Conference All-Conference awards this season.
