ASU's Clark Claims 2nd All-American Nod

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Angelo State Baseball’s Tripp Clark claimed his second All-American honor this season on Thursday, May 30, as the Division II Collegiate Commissioners Association named Clark to the First Team.

Clark ranks second in Division II in RBIs this season with 88 this season. He’s eighth in batting average (.445), fifth in Doubles (24), and fifth in hits (94).

Clark also received a first-team All-American nod earlier this week from the NCWBA and earned First-Team All-Region from the American Baseball Coaches Association. 

The Rams begin the NCAA Division II National Championship Tournament on Saturday as they take on top-seeded Central Missouri at 5 p.m. CST in Cary, N.C.
