LUBBOCK, TX — The Angelo State Rams Baseball travels to Lubbock on Friday, Mary 24, to play in the Super Regional against in-conference rival Lubbock Christian for a best-of 3-game series with a trip to the Division II College World Series on the line.
Last time out, the Rams swept through the South Central Regional Tournament held in Grand Junction, CO. Angelo State went 3-0 on the weekend, including two victories over West Texas A&M, to advance to the Super Regional against Lubbock Christian this weekend.

The Rams and Chaps split the regular season series here in San Angelo earlier this season. At two games a piece, the battle will come down to who wins: the Rams’ defense or the Chaps’ high-octane offense. The Rams have one of the best pitching ERA’s (earned run averages) from its pitchers this season, while LCU has one of the best scoring rates out of anyone in the nation.
Angelo State has the opportunity to advance to the College World Series again this weekend and defend its title as National Champion.
