SAN ANGELO, TX — The Wall Lady Hawks Golf team has the opportunity to do something spectacular next week. On Monday, May 6, the 3x Defending State Champion Lady Hawks begin the 2024 3A State Golf Tournament. Who says these ladies can’t make it four in a row?
The tournament, held this year at the Shadow Glen Golf Club on the east side of Austin, begins on Monday and will consist of two rounds, concluding on Tuesday.

Wall competed at the Regional competition a week ago and placed 3rd overall. The Lady Hawks scored a 736 through two rounds to finish behind Odessa Compass Academy (1st) and Brock High School (2nd). During district play, the Lady Hawks won the District 6-3A Championship. Wall took the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd spots individually at the district. Emily Green placed 1st overall, followed by Abby McMillan in 2nd, and Morgan Pullig in 3rd.
Next up, Wall sends the ladies to the state tournament in hopes of bringing home another championship. Wall replaces an excellent golfer in Shay West this season but still has several talented players on the roster. West signed with Harden Simmons last year before graduation. Emily Green, Jacey West, Channing Zesch, Abby McMillan, and Morgan Pullig will represent the Lady Hawks at state, with Emily Baird and Makenzie Mikulik as alternates.
