Miles ISD Freshman Heads to State Track Meet

MILES— The Miles Lady Bulldogs are going to be represented at state by a freshman athlete.

Freshman Lady Bulldog Chloe Becker is headed to the state track meet in the 100 and 200.

Becker has not been beaten all season until the regional meet in the 100. She has won both the 100 and the 200 at the Angelo State Spring Break Relays, the Angelo Relays, and the Cotton Patch Relays out at Wall. Even when she was beaten at regionals, she only ran .2 seconds slower than she normally does.

Not only is Becker winning these meets where much bigger schools are competing, but she’s been practicing on a dirt track, the only track Miles ISD currently has.
