SAN ANGELO, TX — 2024’s first Regional Rankings have been released for post-season Division II Softball. The Angelo State Rambelles came in at No. 4 in the regional rankings ahead of the Belles’ road matchup in Canyon this weekend against West Texas A&M.
Here are the 2024 South Central Regional Rankings as of April 24:

- UT Tyler (40-7)
- Colorado Christian (45-4)
- Angelo State (36-13)
- Oklahoma Christian (29-20)
- Colorado Mesa (37-7)
- St. Mary’s (29-17)
- Lubbock Christian (25-18)
- Texas A&M Kingsville (29-21)
- MSU Denver (36-14)
The Rambelles are 36-13 on the season and 27-12 in LSC play. They close out the regular season this weekend in Canyon against the Lady Buffs, while the LSC Tournament is slated to kick off next weekend on the campus of the LSC regular-season champion. Angelo State needs a strong performance against the No. 1 team in the South Central Region. This matchup with WT should be an excellent measuring stick for where the Belles are as a team at this point in the season.
The first pitch for Game 1 against the Lady Buffs is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Friday, April 26.
