Wall's Annual Cotton Patch Relays Begin on Wednesday

 

WALL, TX — The Annual Cotton Patch Relays at Wall High School will be held on Wednesday, March 27. Field events kick off at 2:30 p.m., and the running events follow at 6 p.m.

Several schools from around the Concho Valley will compete this afternoon, so come out and support our local high school student-athletes as they show what they can do.

Here is the posted schedule for the Cotton Patch Relays:

  • 2:30 p.m. - Field Events Begin with the Pole Vault
  • 3 p.m. - Jumping Events Begin
  • 3:45 p.m. - Throwing Events Begin
  • 4 p.m. - 3200-meter run for all divisions
  • 6 p.m. - All other running events begin

*Running events will begin earlier if the 3200-meter run is already finished.

The Wall Hawks and Lady Hawks look to defend their home turf at the Cotton Patch Relays on Wednesday night. Wall won the Boys' and Girls' Divisions last year and came off two outstanding victories at the San Angelo Relays in Divisions II and IV a week ago.
