SAN ANGELO, TX — The Angelo State Rams’ 2024 football schedule dropped on Friday, March 22. The season is still a ways off, but the schedule release gives fans a taste of what’s to come this football season. The Rams kick 2024 off on the road against Fort Hays State on August 29.
Angelo State begins next season with two straight road games before its home opener against the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds on September 14. The Rams’ first home game will also start Lone Star Conference play.
The Rams only play two nonconference games to start the year, both on the road, against Fort Hays State on August 29 and Emporia State on September 7. Both of these road matchups will be in Kansas. After the home opener on September 14, the Rams hit the road again to play Western New Mexico on September 21. Other away games include UT Permian Basin on October 5, Midwestern State on October 19, and Western Oregon on November 9.
Angelo State’s home slate includes Eastern New Mexico on September 14, Texas A&M Kingsville on October 12, the Lone Star Conference’s newest member, Sul Ross State, on October 26, Central Washington on November 2, and West Texas A&M on November 16.
