Belles Softball Wins Series Against ENMU

 

SAN ANGELO, TX—The No. 25 Angelo State Rambelles won their road series over the weekend against the Eastern New Mexico Lady Greyhounds. The ladies took the long road trip to Portales, NM, to try to advance their position in the Lone Star Conference standings.

After a rough start to Game 1, where the Belles lost 3-1, Angelo State followed up in Game 2 with a 10-2 victory. Then, the Belles’ Cheyenne Floyd (12-3) pitched a brilliant game in the circle in Game 3 to secure a 4-0 win over the Lady Greyhounds on Sunday.

Angelo State returns to action for a midweek, 3-game series at home against Texas A&M Kingsville on Tuesday, March 12. Games 1 and 2 will be doubleheaders on Tuesday, with Game 3 on Wednesday. The first pitch on Tuesday is scheduled for 4 p.m.
