ARLINGTON, TX — Netflix announced on X that YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul will fight Mike Tyson at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
“My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion of the world, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time,” Paul stated. “Time to put Iron Mike to sleep.”
Tyson was slightly more conserved on X, stating, “We signed the contract.”
Paul (9-1, KOs) will fight Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) on Saturday, July 20, at the 80,000-seat capacity stadium in North Texas. The fight will air live exclusively on Netflix on that day.
“He’s the greatest heavyweight of all time…the most vicious KO artist ever. But I’m younger, I’m faster, and I’m going to be working my a*** off to get stronger,” Paul stated.
