WATCH: Wall Lady Hawks Paige Dickson Signs with Ranger College

WALL, TX — Wednesday was a big day for one of the Wall Lady Hawks’ athletes. Lady Hawks Paige Dickson signed with Ranger College to play Volleyball at the next level. Surrounded by friends and family, Dickson’s coaches and teachers said a few nice words before she sat down with her parents to sign with Ranger College.

Dickson was a member of the Bi-District Champion Lady Hawks this past season. As the libero, Dickson represented the heart and soul of Wall’s defense. She may not have been one of the heavy hitters to place her in the highlight reel, but she had more than one incredible save throughout the season. She is an active member at Wall High School and gives back to Wall’s community.

Wall High School offers a PAL program to its students which gives them a chance to work with classes at Wall Elementary. One group of guests watching the signing put a big smile on her face. Dickson helps out with a second-grade class at the elementary school, and all the students in the class showed up on Wednesday to cheer her on during her significant accomplishment.

San Angelo LIVE’s Ryan Chadwick interviewed Dickson just before she signed her papers. Check out the interview below:

Dickson graduates from Wall this spring and heads to Ranger later on in the summer. She said that she plans to use this opportunity to learn all she can to improve her craft and hit the transfer portal to greener pastures in the future. Wall and the greater San Angelo community are all excited to see what she can do down the road.
