Angelo State Surges in the Second Half to Claim Victory

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Angelo State Rams hosted the Cameron Aggies for a Lone Star Conference matchup on Thursday night, February 15, at the Stephens Arena in the Junell Center. The Rams rode a hot shooting night to avenge their earlier season loss to the Aggies with an 80-71 victory.

After the Rams fell in overtime to West Texas A&M last weekend, ASU desperately needed a conference win to climb back into the mix toward the end of the season. Behind 28 points from Keyshawn Embery-Simpson, the Rams achieved exactly what they needed with a dominant victory.
