Despite the Bobcats finishing the season with a 1-9 record, Central was in all but two games last year. A few plays here or there could have turned that record into 7-3 or 6-4. English significantly improved throughout the season and should continue in his senior season this fall.

The Bobcats hired new head coach Mark Smith last Friday, February 2, to steer Central in a new direction. A former Oklahoma Sooners’ coaching staff member, Smith brings a different kind of expertise back to the high school game. Next season should be an interesting one for the Bobcats.
