Angelo State finished with a 29-25 overall record in 2023 and hit an even .500 in conference play. At 21-21, the Belles need to improve that record this season if the ladies hope to make a run at a conference championship. Nine players return from last year’s roster, and the Rambelles bring in a slew of new talent with an additional 11 players this season.
The Belles open up the 2024 season on February 2 in Conroe, Texas, for the Division II First Pitch Invitational. Angelo State will play six games over that weekend. It will be a tough test for Belles as they play two ranked teams in the 17th-ranked Wingate and 19th-ranked Rogers State. Angelo State opens up its first home game the following weekend to host the annual George and Ola McCorkle Challenge at Mayer Stadium.
