Bobcats Roll Lubbock Coronado at Home

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Central Bobcats hosted their final home game in 2023 against the Lubbock Coronado Mustangs in San Angelo on Tuesday night, December 19. Solid defense and a strong showing from Kollin Allbright and Squeaky English propelled the ‘Cats to another victory 60-42.

Watch some of the highlights of the Bobcats below:

The ‘Cats jumped out to a hot start in the 1st quarter, led by four points from TK Taylor and four points from Allbright. Central played tough defense and led 16-10 after the first frame. The Bobcats extended their lead further when Allbright scored 10 of his 21 points all in the 2nd quarter. The ‘Cats took a commanding 31-19 lead into halftime.

Squeaky English and Kollin Allbright owned the 3rd quarter. Both were aggressive in the paint, and the Mustangs did not have the size or the ability to stop either one of them. English made his presence felt with strong drives to the basket, where he won every single time a defender went one-on-one. Central outscored Coronado 25-6 in the 3rd quarter, and the starters were done for the night.
