Angelo State Hosts Three LSC Opponents in Five Days

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Angelo State Rams (5-1, 2-0 LSC) will host three home games in five days starting Thursday, December 7. After the Rams opened up Lone Star Conference play with two victories on the road, ASU looks to remain perfect in conference this weekend.

At his weekly press conference on Monday, Rams’ Head Coach Vinay Patel gave his thoughts on his team’s performance last weekend against Texas A&M Kingsville and A&M International. He said the victory over Southern Arkansas a few weeks ago was a major factor in the Rams’ resilience on the road. Angelo State beat Kingsville in overtime last Thursday 85-81 and International last Saturday 69-63.

The Rams open up their homestand against the University of Arkansas Fort Smith (UFAS) on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. ASU then will play Oklahoma Christian on Saturday at 3 p.m. Coach Patel and company return to action for ASU’s final home game against rival UT Permian Basin on Tuesday, December 12, at 2 p.m.

All three games will be at the Stephens Arena at the Junell Center in San Angelo.
