SAN ANGELO, TX — The 2023 Doug McCutchen Basketball Tournament tips off Thursday in San Angelo. The high school basketball tournament is held in San Angelo annually and hosted by Central High School and Lake View High School.
The annual basketball tournament starts on Thursday, November 30, with the Central Bobcats tipping off at Central High School against V. R. Eaton at 1:30 p.m. The Lake View Chiefs host the Caddo Mills Foxes at Lake View High School at 3 p.m.

The final San Angelo High School to participate in the tournament will be the TLCA Eagles. The Eagles play El Paso Esleta Indians at Lake View High School at 3 p.m.
Other teams in the tournament include Euless Trinity, Lubbock Cooper, Odessa Permian, San Antonio Brandeis, Del Valle, El Paso Americas, Temple, and San Antonio Taft. The tournament will last throughout the weekend, with the Championship Game on Saturday, December 2, at 2 p.m. at the Lake View High School Gym.
