The Rams played three games last week and came away with two wins and an exhibition loss to Division I North Texas on Sunday. ASU’s Willie Guy hit a buzzer-beater to complete a 19-point comeback and beat Southern Arkansas 64-63. The Rams followed the win with a blow-out victory in their home opener against Arlington Baptist, 111-68. Angelo State fell to North Texas in Denton but fought hard the entire game.

Head Coach Vinay Patel gave his thoughts on his team’s performance last week and what he expects from the Rams as they open up conference play this weekend. Check out Coach Patel’s press conference below:

The Rambelles then faced No. 15 Tampa on Saturday, November 25. After a hard-fought battle, the Rambelles fell 63-53. Lloyd had another strong performance with her second double-double of the young season. The Wall native had 21 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, three steals, and two blocks.

Lloyd’s performance over the last two games garnered her Lone Star Conference Player of the Week honors announced by the Conference on Monday.
