Concho Valley Marching Bands Compete at UIL State Championships

 

SAN ANTONIO, TX — The UIL State Marching Band Championships take place over the next two weeks, October 30 - November 8, and several high schools from around the Concho Valley made the cut this year. Here are the teams who made it to the state competition and the schedule for when and where they play. Check out the entire slate of bands at the competition on the UIL’s official website.

1A

IRION COUNTY HORNETS

  • The Hornets Marching Band will compete on Tuesday, November 7, at 10:15 a.m.
  • Location: The Alamodome in San Antonio.

2A

MASON PUNCHERS

  • The Punchers competed on Tuesday, October 31, for all the 2A competitors. Mason played well but did not manage to break into the Top 5 marching bands at state. However, the Punchers still made it this far and should be congratulated on their performance this season.

3A

TLCA SAN ANGELO EAGLES

  • The Eagles will perform on Wednesday, November 8, at 1:30 p.m.
  • Location: The Alamodome in San Antonio.

WALL HAWKS

  • The Hawks follow two schools after TLCA on Wednesday, November 8. Wall will perform at 2 p.m.
