Big Spring Too Much for the Chiefs in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Lake View Chiefs hosted the Big Spring Steers at San Angelo Stadium on Thursday, October 19, in a district game with major playoff implications. Big Spring took advantage of some early turnovers to build a decent lead in the 1st quarter before Lake View finally got on the board. Lake View’s offense finally came together and put up 35 points. However, Big Spring’s lead was too large at that point, and the Chiefs fell 63-43.

Big Spring took an early lead in the 1st quarter. The Steers would score three unanswered touchdowns before Lake View’s defense forced Big Spring off the field. After tackling the Steers for a sizable loss, the Chiefs forced a third down and long. The Secondary proved up to the task and forced Big Spring to punt.
