Cowboys Take Beat Down From San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO— The Dallas Cowboys took a beating of epic proportions Sunday night by the San Francisco 49ers, 42-10.

The Cowboys were beaten before the game even started and they looked out of sync all night. Dak Prescott went 14-24 for 153 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. Cowboys’ offensive play caller and head coach Mike McCarthy has been unable to get CeeDee Lamb going, as Lamb only had 49 total receiving yards.

The 49ers had already gotten a 14-point lead until KaVontae Turpin had the Cowboys lone touchdown on a 26-yard pass to cut San Francisco’s lead 14-7. That would be it for the Cowboys other than a 50-yard field goal after the halftime.

49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, who extended San Francisco’s regular season winning streak 15. Purdy went 17-24 for 252 yards and four touchdowns, three to tight end George Kittle.

The Cowboys were defeated from the jump. For as good as the Dallas defense is advertised, they gave up 170 yards and two touchdowns on the ground and were torched through the air.

Dallas has the Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams, and the Philadelphia Eagles coming up on their schedule and this will show fans if the Cowboys are real or if all the offseason hype just got fans hopes up.
