SAN ANGELO, TX — The Angelo State University women's soccer team begins its 2023 season this week with two home games against Central Oklahoma on Thursday, August 31, and East Central on Saturday, September 2, at the ASU Soccer Complex.

- ASU opens the season against Central Oklahoma for the first time since 2017.

ANGELO STATE VS CENTRAL OKLAHOMA

- The Bronchos finished fifth in the competitive MIAA, going 11-6-4 overall and 6-3-2 in conference play.

- The Belles hold the series advantage over East Central 10-4-3.
- The last time the teams met was in 2021 in Ada, OK. where the Belles came out on top 3-1 with goals by Shaelyn Ward, Gabby Villagrand, and Avery McNeme.
- Abbie Morris returns for the Tigers after being tied for the team lead in goals last season with five.
- East Central finished fifth in the GAC, going 3-10-5 overall and 1-4-2 in conference play.
