“All-Around Football Player” Gives Bronte Hope Despite Loss

BRONTE, TX —The Bronte Longhorns dropped the first game of the season on Thursday night to the #24 Zephyr Bulldogs, 42-18.

The game started off strong for the Longhorns. They were able to score on their first two possessions after recovering an onside kick in the first quarter.

The Bulldogs would rally back and take a commanding lead thanks to numerous turnovers by Bronte. The Longhorns would ultimately score again early in the 4th quarter to make it 42-18.

The Longhorns have some work to do early in the season. However, Coach Rocky Ralls thinks they'll be just fine behind “all-around football player” Cole Knight.

Here is Coach Rawls after the game.
