It's Over: Dallas Cowboys Lose Two Promising Rookies to Injuries

 

ARLINGTON— The Dallas Cowboys lost two impressive rookies in the second preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks Saturday.

During the game with the Seahawks, Cowboys rookies DeMarvion Overshown and John Stephens both had season ending knee injuries in the form of torn ACLs. Both are confirmed to miss the 2023 season.

Overshown really showed out during training camp and the preseason and was one of the top draft picks for the Cowboys. His injury was confirmed by a recent MRI.

Stephens also had an impressive training camp and had five catches for 56 yards and one touchdown.

The Cowboys have one more preseason game against the Las Vegas Raiders who had rookie phenom quarterback Aiden O’Connell at the wheel.
